Shot put and rackets

For fitness this week we continued to learn about the fundamental movement skill of "striking with an implement" ... sounds dangerous but it is really all about hitting balls with rackets, paddles and hockey sticks. You could extend this learning by playing bat down, table tennis or badminton at home.

When Tony visited we were focussed on listening carefully and Tony did say he was impressed!
Ka pai!

Tony got us charging around the field throwing, catching and chasing tennis balls. Then we all had turns using the shot puts.
