Contributing to our learning

Today Samuel brought in his iPad. He wanted to share a good maths learning app. He mirrored his ipad to the TV screen and demonstrated the app QuickMath. We noticed it had a multiplication and division option, so Mrs Morris suggested Samuel show it to the children in Berger Whanau. Samuel was confident to share. He did a demo for the children in Beger Whanau too.
Thanks for contributing to the learning of others, Samuel.

  1. When I was much younger, I played a similar game to this, where you had to enter the answers to maths questions as fast as possible (it's how I learnt to quickly enter numbers on a keypad, since there wasn't writing recognition in those days). It's interesting that Samuel likes the same sort of thing.

My best for Beginner Addition is 12 seconds and for Advanced mixed 36 seconds. I'll gift the app to anyone that wants to challenge me :)
